Create an app access rule- 

1. Open the control panel on the computer. 
2. Click on the windows firewall. 
3.Select the advance settings option and go to the inbound rule option. 
4. Here, you need to choose the new rule option. 
5. Now click on the program and press the next button. 
6. Now select the printer driver location and then click on the next button. 
7. Here, you need to choose the allow connection. 
8. Select all domains and press the next button. 
9. Now choose the name and then click on the next button. 
10. Finally, you have to click on the finish button. 


Allow the port- 

Once you will allow the device access from the firewall. next, you need to create an inbound rule and allow the UDP port for the printer communication. in brother printer that is 54925, if you are using some other brand, search on google for their particular port. 

If that doesn't work for you, you can disable the firewall and then retry to access the printer. it will start working fine.
