 The microsoft outlook 365 is a cloud platform. which works similar to the other outlook versions. the main advantage of having this software is that, You don't have to buy the software. You just have to subscribe to the model and pay until you want to use them. 

Also the account setup  process on the the outlook app is very easy. You can add the yahoo account on this application by using the username and password. However, some users may have to face the login problems on the account. that might be happening because of the incorrect username or password error.

How to fix the yahoo mail syncing issue on the outlook application?

1. When you can't access the yahoo mail on the outlook app 365. Go ahead and check the password first. most probably, the password is incorrect. that's why outlook won't let you access the account.  So you should reset the yahoo password and then update it from the account settings. now retry to access the account. 

2. PLease open the outlook application and check the imap & pop server information. make sure that the address, port no, and other details are correct. if they are showing invalid. you need to update them. again. 

3. Let's go to the account settings on the outlook and remove the current account. now re-add the account. 

4. Make sure that your pc is internet to get connected from the yahoo mail servers. 

5. Sometimes, users are unable to access the account because of application issue. so you should remove the outlook application and then re-add the app again. now retry to access the account again. let’s see are still dealing with the yahoo mail not receiving emails or not?
